The Studio Ghibli beginning logo, introduced in 1991, features the iconic character Totoro sitting on a light blue background. Underneath the illustration, the text "STUDIO GHIBLI" appears in a Futura-like font, with the Japanese characters 「スタジオジブリ作品」 in the bottom right corner. Totoro and Chibi Totoro from the film My Neighbor Totoro are the studio's mascots.
